How do I use this root lifter foam? - joico spray glaze

I bought "Joico Body Luxe Root Lift Volumizing Foam" and do not understand how to use it. I spray at the roots of the hair is, but only on mosses and go my hair, instead of the roots. Someone can explain how to use the product?
