Who do i contact if i believe an electrical appliance has a potentally dangerous design fault ? - contact connectors

I have a few curlers and Phillips recently retired from the imagesetter cable "macho" type connectors, are experienced. I contacted the manufacturer, but today I have the standard reply: "All our products are rigorously tested, blah, blah."

She did not say how old are the loops. If there is no guarantee on the left side just turns your wheels. Toss and get a different brand.
